인터넷이 등장하기 전에는 정보가 부족했다. 원하는 정보를 얻기 위해 도서관을 방문하거나 전문가를 직접 찾아가야 했다. 하지만 지금은 정반대의 시대가 되었다. 검색창에 단어 하나만 입력해도 수천 개의 결과가 나타난다. 정보 부족의 시대가 끝나자 정보 과잉의 시대가 시작된 것이다.
문제는 정보가 많아질수록 판단이 쉬워지는 것이 아니라 오히려 어려워진다는 점이다. 밤하늘에 별이 몇 개 없을 때는 방향을 찾기 쉽지만, 은하 전체가 눈앞에 펼쳐지면 어디를 봐야 할지 혼란스러워진다. 현대인은 정보의 우주 속에서 길을 잃은 탐사선과 비슷한 상황에 놓여 있다.

반대로 방향이 명확한 사람은 AI를 강력한 도구로 활용할 수 있다. 블로그를 성장시키고 싶은 사람은 콘텐츠 전략을 만들고, 영어를 배우고 싶은 사람은 맞춤형 학습 계획을 세우며, 사업을 키우고 싶은 사람은 시장 데이터를 분석할 수 있다. 결국 AI의 성능보다 중요한 것은 인간의 질문이다.

Ironically, having more information does not always make decisions easier. When there are only a few stars in the sky, finding direction is simple. This is where AI enters the picture. Many people think of AI as an intelligent machine, but I see it differently. AI functions like a powerful space telescope. It discovers patterns we cannot easily see and identifies meaningful signals hidden within massive amounts of data.
For bloggers, AI becomes a content control center. It analyzes keywords, organizes article structures, and predicts questions readers may ask. For language learners, it becomes a pronunciation coach.
