이제 이 블로그에 16개의 별이 떴다.
첫 글에서도 밝혔듯, 이곳은 단순한 일기장이 아니다.
수익형 블로그라는 이름 아래, 구조를 설계하고 기록하는 실험실이자 관측소다.
티스토리를 기반으로 애드센스를 연결하고, 광고가 자연스럽게 붙는 구조를 만드는 일.
이론으로만 들었을 땐 쉬워 보였지만, 막상 실행에 들어가면
정렬되지 않은 별자리 사이를 하나씩 관측하고 좌표를 찍는 작업과 똑같았다.
🪐 도메인을 구매하고 별자리를 조정하는 일
이 블로그는 .com 도메인을 연결해 시작했다.
그 뒤로 내가 조정한 설정은 다음과 같다.
• 사이트 설명/OG 태그/사이트맵 등록
• 애드센스 자동광고 코드 삽입
• 설명란 80자 제한 오류 해결
• ‘과학’ 주제를 중심으로, 카테고리 없이 15개의 콘텐츠 구성
지금은 마치 망원경처럼 블로그를 고정해 놓은 상태다.
초점을 잡고, 방향을 정하며, 그동안의 관측 데이터를 쌓아가고 있다.
🛸 3일 뒤, 전원이 출격한다
광고는 아직 뜨지 않았다.
하지만 오는 수요일, 같은 수업을 듣는 사람 전원이 애드센스를 신청할 예정이다.
그때까지 이 블로그는 21개의 별을 띄울 준비를 마친다.
지금은 조용한 발사 대기 시간일 뿐이다.
다 세팅된 구조와 쌓인 데이터는 결국 신호를 보낼 것이다.
🌌 수익형 블로그는 구조다
‘글을 잘 쓴다’와 ‘수익을 낸다’는 완전히 다르다.
수익형 블로그는 우연이 아니라 시스템이다.
그 시스템은 반복되는 업로드, 태그, 키워드, 썸네일, 일정한 주제 아래에서 작동한다.
과학처럼 패턴을 만들어야 하고, 구조처럼 반복되어야 한다.
그게 구글이라는 망원경에 포착되는 방식이다.
🔭 16번째 기록을 남기며
이제 이 블로그는 16번째 관측일지를 남긴다.
시작점은 방향을 찾는 일이었고, 지금은 궤도를 확인하는 일이다.
나는 계속 천문학이라는 시선으로 이 블로그를 바라볼 것이다.
광고는 결국 콘텐츠라는 별에서 반사되어 오는 빛이다.

🛰 Observation Log #16 — A Profitable Blog Doesn’t Orbit Without Structure

This marks the 16th post on this blog.
As stated in the very first entry, this isn’t just a diary — it’s a lab and observatory.
Through this blog, I’m testing the structure of a monetized blog system:
connecting a Tistory blog to Google AdSense, and designing content that leads to ad exposure.
It sounds simple, but in practice, it’s more like mapping constellations in a chaotic sky —
observing scattered stars, aligning them, and marking coordinates one by one.
🪐 Designing the Tistory Constellation
This post documents my current setup while waiting for AdSense approval —
an astronomical log of settings, errors, and alignments.
Here’s what I’ve done so far:
• Purchased and connected a .com domain
• Configured site description, OG tags, and submitted sitemap
• Inserted AdSense ad code and enabled auto ads
• Resolved meta tag issues (e.g. 80-character description limit)
• Built 15 content posts based on the “Science” topic, without assigning categories
Each of these actions felt like adjusting a telescope.
Tightening bolts, setting coordinates, and fixing it precisely to the night sky.
🛸 In 3 Days, Everyone Launches
My AdSense approval hasn’t come through yet.
But in three days, on Wednesday, everyone in my course will apply.
By then, this blog will have launched 21 content satellites.
This silence isn’t a failure — it’s a countdown before takeoff.
All systems are ready, and the structure is in place.
Now it’s just about checking the spacecraft and waiting for ignition.
🌌 A Profitable Blog is Built, Not Hoped
The biggest takeaway so far:
“Writing well” and “making money” are not the same thing.
A monetized blog is not a result of luck — it’s a system.
Like science, it relies on data and repeated patterns:
topic consistency, keywords, tags, thumbnails, post length, upload intervals…
All of these form an orbital path to be captured by the Google telescope.

With this post, the 16th star has been logged.
If the first post was the launchpad, this is the mid-flight systems check.
And I plan to keep observing this journey through an astronomical lens.
Because content is observation, and monetization is simply a reaction to it.
